For the love of ELF!
Ok, I admit it! I was wrong. But, when I got my first shipment of ELF (Eyes, Lips, Face) cosmetics to review and found out that they cost only a buck a piece, I wasn't sure what to expect.
I mean, really, what can you expect for a buck, right?
Wow! I was wrong!
ELF turned out to be a superior product line with superior ingredients.
In other words, it delivered on it's promise.
And, when I found out that these trendy little make up must haves, were also faves of name brand celebrities, I jumped with girlish glee.
Finally, I had joined the glamour girl in- crowd!
Celebrities such as Sara Paxton gave out e.l.f. cosmetics at her birthday party as party favors while Jamie Lynn Discala from the Sopranos picked up e.l.f in New York before it was available in stores.
Also celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Dominic Monaghan (Lord of the Rings) and Kwame Jackson were some of the first to try e.l.f.

About the ELF Products I tried:
Elf Soothing Lip GLoss:
Anti-inflammatory rich lip conditioner protects against dryness and provides intense shine on contact.
Great for chapped lips.
One of the best dry skin care products for lips that I've ever found.
Shades I tried: Mauve Luxe and Pink Lemondade.
My opinion: I loved the Mauve Luxe. Works well with both brunette and red hair.
Very thick. Very rich. Luxurious creamy color that goes on like a silky dream and lasts for hours.
As for the Pink Lemonade:
Fun and Sassy!
A very light, barely there shade that would work well for anyone who wants a sheer gloss to add over top of a favorite lipstick.
Or, perfect for fun Saturdays hanging out with friends when you want a more casual, flirty look.
Plus, e.l.f. cosmetics was the first to put SPF in their lip gloss.

Product selection:
There are eight fantastic moisturizing lip glosses to choose from, from Pink Lemondade and Mauve Luxe (my personal favorite, which I use constantly) to Cabernet, Hot Red and Pixie. You'll want them all.
Perfect for summer.
About the packaging: Super slim tube, you could easily slip into your jeans pocket for quick touch ups at the beach.
Recommendation: Run, don't walk to your computer and get yourself a shopping bag full of these tiny beauty life savers!
PS. My two year old followed me around all day after I applied the creamy mauve luxe lip gloss by ELF, smacking her lips and demanding kisses.

Wei East: China Herbal Youth Recaptured: Gentle and Mild product. Wei East never fails to satisfy when it comes to gentle and consistent quality. Not a product that you should use if you have deep wrinkles, or creases, as it primarily only works to reduce redness in the face, and tightens facial tissue. But, it does produce a nice result. For anyone showing the first (and I mean, the very first signs of aging...like early 30's). A great product and affordably priced. You could use this daily with no problem.
Avon Hydrofirming Bio 6 Day Cream: Seems that Avon has been around forever and for those of you that had been waiting for the next big thing from an old favorite, I think you can safely say that you found it with Avon Hydrofirming Bio 6 Day Cream. Very nice texture and consistency. Talk to your Avon consultant about getting a free avon sample. Great everyday cream to use under make up. Doesn't really work on the wrinkles though.
Anew Clinical Line and Wrinkle corrector: For mild wrinkles...not really a restorative product, but it's not too bad either. If you use Avon on a regular basis and don't feel that your skin requires "deep conditioning" or you don't have overly dry skin, you might try this.
Arbonne International Freshener: Swiss Botanical Skin care at its best! Great for everyday use. Mild, gentle and oh so refreshing toner! The tingling sensation lets you know it's working...a pleasant alternative to the more harsh toners and face astringents you might find in the drug store. Once again, a great daily use product. Not for taking away or softening wrinkles...does not demonstrate restorative properties. But, it is certainly worth using! Great product.
Oil of Olay Total Effects: Since this product comes from a company that is so widely known I expected that I would enjoy it more. Unfortunately, I was unable to use it more than once, as it contains a fragrance or perfume that caused a mild stinging sensation. Some women with less sensitive skin will, I am sure enjoy the wrinkle softening qualities of Oil of Olay Total Effects.
Revitol Serum: One of the best skin care wrinkle creams on the planet.
